Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

This is terrible but I am using 2015’s Marc Jacob’s holiday palette for the first time! I went crazy last fall and just bought too much stuff. Probably the biggest reason I kept putting it off was due to my reaction whenever I looked at the palette. It didn’t call to me. I have used it five times now to create five different looks, and I hate to say it’s been one of the worst make up weeks of the year. Maybe I’m just not a Marc Jacob’s girl? The shimmers are just too soft and muted, the mattes feel dry, there is not a highlight shade for my inner tear duct, the two purples are weak, and the high performers are very dupable. I’m disappointed but I have so much truly amazing make up, so all is well. Maybe my daughter will like it, as I am probably going to pass it on to her in November.

Givenchy’s Heroic Pink definitely caught my eye! I am trying so hard not to buy anything I can dupe so I’ve been wearing Bite Beauty’s Limited Lab 002 in an attempt to ward of my impulse to buy Heroic Pink.
