If the bite items were live at Sephora today, I know I would have scored infuse, purée, and maybe chutney. Swatched Heat, and dk why it looked so dreadful. Well, those shades work from abh and cp. no great loss. ~nw 20. Loved/Used: bite non darks/brights, like glacé, gavi, cortado. Not my usuals. Cp I spy continues in significant rotation. It works in any orange toned look as lid, crease, or transition. The more orange blushes from Nars blush palettes. Discovery: it wasn’t strictly about muted orange. Wrapped Candy plays very well with Vacay.
I swatched UD Heat too! I found the shadows to be dry and gritty. Not to mention the shade range lacks any diversity. It’s a plum and rust palette. You can basically create all of two looks. Not impressed. A definite pass and tbh, I didn’t see anyone check it out or pick one up when I went to Ulta the other day. It was pretty packed there too!
Love Biker Babe, but haven’t seen it in stores yet.
My coloring
Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, blackish and gray hair
Most loved
Colourpop’s Ultra Satin lipsticks. I’ve been wearing various colors through the week. I love how wearable they are! I have a bunch more on order.
Most used
UD Naked3 palette. I’ve had this one for a long time, but I was really into it this week. Especially the mattes Nooner and Limit.
New discoveries
Mac Coquette eyeshadow, a taupe that leans a little toward khaki green. Used as an accent color, it really (and surprisingly) flattered my green eyes. Bought it last night.
My skin tone/coloring: fair with pink undertones
Most loved product of the week: Marc Jacobs Provocouture palette
Most used product of the week: IT Cosmetics Confidence in an eye cream, use it twice a day
Any new beauty discoveries?: Bite Amuse Bouche in Fig is the perfect base to Nars Orgasm
My skin tone/coloring: Light medium with yellow undertones.
Most loved product of the week: Violet Voss Rose Gold highlighter palette.
Most used product of the week: Zoeva eyeliner in Glance – I just ordered a back up.
Any new beauty discoveries?: LA Girl Just Blush range – they’re really good!
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Most loved product of the week: The Balm Balm Desert: What do you know, it works as a bronzer on me! It really is that perfect shade in-between a blush and a bronzer.
Most used product of the week: UD Electric Palette; Juvia’s Place Mini Masquerade Palette; The Balm Balm Desert; BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in Opal 01 (Plus my usual dailies.)
Any new beauty discoveries?: The Balm Balm Desert. Also, I’ve started playing with the Bh Cosmetics Supernova Palette. So far I’m really liking it.
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Most loved product of the week:: I’ve used a lot of my Lorac Pro Metals this week, as well as Guerlain’s Les Vert’s – very subtle this one.
Most used product of the week: Besame’s Tango Red lipstick, some times with Clinique’s Peach Pop on top to give it a bit of shine; Maybelline’s InStyle Sienna – a real russet shade and one of Milani’s berry shades too.
Any new beauty discoveries?: That my skin can tolerate Chia seed oil – when I run out of my Physicians Formula Argon oil.
My skin tone/coloring: Fair w/ olive undertone (I got a bit of a tan this week by accident, I’m no longer so ghostly!), hazel eyes, auburn hair
Most loved product of the week: Urban Decay Whiskey pencil eyeliner – so flattering on green and hazel eyes, and my favorite pencil liner formula
Most used product of the week: The Balm Desert Blush/Bronzer – it’s got a fantastic satin-y formula and a really flattering color
Any new beauty discoveries?: None – I had hoped that the new L’Oreal lipstick in MATTE-sterpiece would be nice (it’s a lovely color) but the formula is strange. Usually with L’Oreal lipsticks, the formula is great and the scent is unbearable but this time the scent was subtle but the formula was thin, slippy (not in a good way), and settled into my lines.
Skintone / coloring : light, NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Most loved : MAC Brit Wit (creme) and Prism (powder), NYX Nude Suede Shoes lip liner and MAC Fluster Rose Lip Glass, Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear Bronzer and Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
Most Used: Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, ABH Brow Wiz, Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder in Invisible Matte, Cargo Texaslash Mascara, MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara, KVD Ink Liner in Dali & Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear Bronzer
New Discoveries : Setting Brit Wit (creme blush) with powder blush (MAC Prism), placing blush higher on cheekbone. Finally cleaned my Buxom S Curve mascara wand. Used it my Cargo Texaslash Mascara. Now that underwhelming mascara works better!
