Caramelized
Bite Beauty Caramelized Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a medium, peachy brown with warm, yellow undertones and a cream finish. It had rich color payoff with a lightweight, lightly tacky texture that felt smooth and was easy to maneuver across the lips for even coverage. The lipstick stayed on well for five hours and was lightly hydrating but there was a bit of color in some of my lip lines–the shine helped camouflage that for most of the wear.
The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be “moisture-rich, high-pigment” in a “liquified” consistency that has a “creamy, comfortable application.” It’s a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you’ve been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn’t do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Whip
Bite Beauty Whip Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a medium, rosy brown with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly on the lips. The texture seemed slightly more emollient and fluid compared to the other shades, and as a result, it seemed like a single pull of product was too much product. The lipstick felt lightweight on, comfortable to wear, and had a light tackiness. It wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Cava
Bite Beauty Cava Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a soft, medium mauve with neutral-to-warm undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer with a smooth, creamy consistency that spread easilya cross the lips and did not appear streaky. I had trouble with some of the color pulling into my lip lines, though I did not notice it much from a normal viewing distance. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating.

Not the shades for me butI’m interested in the formula now. 😉
I like it so far! 🙂 I’m curious whether a lipstick or the liquid version of Amuse Bouche would last longer (the liquid contains quite a bit).
Ditto
As expected, I am in love with cava!
Woohoo! 🙂
I’m very close to being VIB Rouge or I’d be upset that Cava is a Rouge exclusive!
Phew!
Now that I’ve discovered UD Abstract and MAC Shy Girl for my lighter nudes, isn’ it funny that now nothing else quite reels me in? ?
That said, out of this set, I favor Whip the most. It appears to be a more universally flattering nude that could work well with a wider range of skintones and depths.
Sounds like you have found your HG shades, so it is awesome that nothing else in the family tempts you! 🙂
Not my colors, but glad to see they are scoring well!
Here’s hoping they all do well!
Cava is such a pretty color. This formula sounds like the kind I like.
Ah Cava! Need!!!!!
I think I need Caramelized and Whip. I really am trying to reduce the stash but this formula’s got me convinced!
These are not the shades for me as they are so pale, but the formula is a good one.
This formula looks gorgeous! These shades aren’t for me either, unfortunately. I love cava. I bought it in bullet form and it made me look extremely ill so I passed it on but had I found any way to make it work on me I would have!
I have been looking at these; the nudes look especially nice. I had expected Whip to look a little flat and concealer-y, but it’s actually a really nice shade on the lips 🙂 Ordering!
Cava is really pretty! I love the cool tone!
