In this next look at Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.09 oz.), we’re featuring several of the warmer pink shades available in the range. Please see part one for a more in-depth review of the formula overall.

Fiend Lipstick ($22.00) is described as a “muted rose.” It’s a subdued, medium rosy pink with a luminous sheen. It had rich, full color coverage and applied smoothly and evenly. Fiend wore four hours on me. Bobbi Brown nude Rose is darker, less pink. Giorgio Armani Blush is warmer, more beige. MAC Elegant Accent is warmer. Chanel Hyde Park is brighter, pinker. Bobbi Brown Pink Peony is slightly darker. See comparison swatches.

Native Lipstick ($22.00) is described as a “pale pink.” It’s a warm-toned, light-medium pink with a glossy sheen. It had opaque color payoff, and it applied evenly for the most part, but the lighter color did make it more apparent if you pressed your lips together–you could see very faint lines at times. It wore for three and a half hours on me. NARS Bolero is warmer, lighter, matte. MAC You’re Perfect Already is cooler-toned, lighter. MAC Dreaminess is lighter. MAC Vivid Imagination is pinker. MAC Please Me is cooler-toned, darker. MAC Haute Altitude is darker. Burberry Tulip Pink is more muted. Bobbi Brown Miami Coral is slightly warmer.
See comparison swatches.

Naked Lipstick ($22.00) is described as a “nude-pink.” It’s a warm, medium pink with a luminous sheen. It had mostly opaque color, and it wore well for four hours on me. NARS Bolero is more matte, lighter. MAC Mehr is darker, more matte.
Burberry Tulip Pink is lighter. Bobbi Brown Miami Coral is warmer. See comparison swatches.

Rush Lipstick ($22.00) is described as a “pink-mauve.” It’s a muted, medium rosy pink with a soft shine. It had full color coverage and applied well, and it lasted for four hours when I wore it. Tom Ford Indian Rose is slightly darker. Bobbi Brown Nude Rose darker. Giorgio Armani Blush is warmer, lighter. MAC Mehr is more matte. See comparison swatches.

So many of these look really gorgeous and creamy and versatile. I suspect I’m going to end up bingeing on at least one from each of the sets you’ve posted so far.

Thanks, Christine! I knew you would do a comparison post but didn’t know when.

Native looks ALMOST exactly like the original Naked, so if I were to get just one color, I’d probably go for Native.

Peroxide doesn’t have much of a match, though Lovelight is a bit sheer like Peroxide is, it’s noticeably darker and Streak is a gorgeous color but certainly no Peroxide. It reminds me a little bit of Born With It by Maybelline which I have, though Peroxide might be paler. You have a lip swatch under a post entitled “The Spring Season” and features Peroxide, so you can update the product page 🙂

Native looks a lot like MAC’s Please Me to me. All the colours are so very pretty, my wallet would hate me if I went and bought them all!

Christine, do you know if the Naked shade in this formula is the same color as their original Naked lipstick that was discontinued? TIA 🙂

LOOOOOOOOVE. The only one I’m not sure about is native. since i’m so pale it could work beautifully…or it could wash me out. I want the others, though realistically I’ll have to try to settle on just one. I just don’t know which!

I LOVE Rush and Naked in the old formula (two products I almost cried about being discontinued). I was so excited to see these colors returning, but unfortunately it seems like the formula has changed for the worse. I don’t like the finish in these swatches at all, they looks so thick and unnatural. How would you say they compare to the older ones, Christine? Do they feel thicker, creamier? And are the colors the same as before?

This group in particular is a challenge. Although they are all quite similar, I can see myself wearing every single colour here. Now add these to the choices from the other group and count me broke and confounded.
