Urban Decay Fireball, Naked, Midnight Cowgirl Hi-Fi Shine Lip Glosses Reviews & Swatches
Fireball
Urban Decay Fireball Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ($20.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium, peachy coral base with fine pink pearl and larger gold sparkle. It seemed to bring out the natural pink tones in my lips quite a bit, as it had semi-sheer coverage but yielded greater visual impact as it made my natural color pinker and deeper. I expect the gloss to look different from person to person based on their natural lip color, though. It lasted for four hours and was hydrating on me.

Formula Overview
$20.00/0.23 oz. - $86.96 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "ultra-shiny" with a "cushiony-soft" texture that has "long-lasting wear that's comfortable, not tacky." They are scented with "vanilla-mint," which I did detect, and I could taste slightly (more like a vague sweetness). There was a slight minty tingle upon initial application, but it was very subtle and more of a cooling sensation than anything painful.
The strength of the formula is the texture of the gloss--more gel-like with a plushness that often smoothed out my lip lines rather than settled into them as some glosses are prone to do. Most shades applied well, were comfortable to wear, and lasted between three and five hours on me with light hydration.
The coverage varies based on finish, with "Sheer Cream" having the sheerest coverage and "Cream" having "pigment-rich" coverage (opaque). The two other finishes--Holographic and Metallized--are supposed to have more medium, buildable coverage, per the brand. I think that the brand could have done a better job describing the coverage levels both by finish as well as by shade, though.

Naked
Urban Decay Naked Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ($20.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a fine, pink and gold pearl strewn throughout it. This particular shade is a “Sheer Cream” so the semi-sheer coverage was expected. The gloss went on evenly and smoothly across my lips with a gel-like texture that was plush with just a touch of tackiness. It wore well for four hours and was hydrating.

Midnight Cowgirl
Urban Decay Midnight Cowgirl Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ($20.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a soft, peachy-pink with gold pearl with a cream-like sheen. It had semi-sheer coverage that applied evenly across my lips and had a milkier appearance, though it did not emphasize my lip lines and made my lips appear smoother overall. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and gel-like without being heavy or thick. It wore well for four hours and was moisturizing.

I think they did a great job with this launch. I used my Beauty Junkie kickback to order Midnight Cowgirl and Snitch, and I really like them so far. They add shine without being too tacky, feel moisturizing, and make my lips look smooth.
Wow those look… weak. Definitely not what I expected in terms of color impact!
Pretty colors. I tested one while in Spokane as my lips were so chapped and I was in Nordstrom’s and they sales assistant suggested I try it. It wasn’t moisturizing and I think probably made my lips more chapped but I did like the feel of the formula and had I not had chapped lips I probably would like them more. I think they make a nice topper over other lipsticks.
I like Fireball, but the other two are so sheer and light. Not my thing.
The plush, cushy look of these is quite impressive! Naked and Midnight Cowgirl are 2 that I’m going to try on. I would have gone for Fireball, but I own Fenty Spacesuit, and that looks a lot like this.
All so pretty. Great for summer.
I thought these would be more pigmented, they look so pretty in the tube. I do prefer the fine shimmers vs the bigger glitter in Fireball.
I think these would have excited me in the past, especially with that Lip Junkie smell back! But zzzz. I swatched and didn’t want any. I think Colourpop and NYX have broken me of my need for 20$ lip glosses with their quality.
