Urban Decay Cosmic 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set
Urban Decay Cosmic 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set ($29.00 for 0.14 oz.) includes five, travel-sized eyeliners that range from classic black to pearly white to brown. The holiday set contains $66.67 worth of eyeliner–not a bad value (these are 0.8g or 0.0282 oz. each, and full-sized eyeliners are 1.2g or 0.0423 oz. / $20.00 each or $472.81/oz.). The formula is consistent with the 24/7 formula overall, though Cosmic fell short.
Zero is a medium black with neutral undertones and a semi-matte finish., It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, and it was lightly creamy without tugging on the lash line. It wore well for eight hours on me. This shade is part of the brand’s permanent range. Laura Mercier Noir (P, $24.00)(100% similar). MAC Flourish Me Deep (LE, $18.00) is darker (95% similar). Stag is a muted, deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage in one pass, and it was buildable to mostly opaque coverage in two layers. The texture was lightly creamy with a slight waxiness that helped it glide across the skin without dragging. On me, the liner lasted for almost nine hours. It was part of Naked on the Run, but this version is much darker and creamier–more pigmented. MAC Lowlights (P, $16.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Urban Decay Demolition (P, $22.00) is glossier (95% similar). NARS Last Frontier (P, $24.00) is cooler (95% similar). Urban Decay Smokeout (LE, $22.00) is cooler (95% similar). Cosmic is a bright, pearly white with neutral undertones. It had semi-sheer color payoff, and the texture was on the drier side, so it applied unevenly and thickened on itself in places. If it had been creamier, it could have brightened the lash line well. The color lasted for eight hours before fading. Zoeva The Truth (P, $7.50) is more shimmery (95% similar). Fenty Beauty Bad Bride (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Tarina Tarantino Crystal Gun (DC, $15.00) is more shimmery, brighter (90% similar). MAC Be Cool BB (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Yeyo (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Winterfell Snow (LE, $22.00) is brighter (85% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Iced (P, $24.00) is less shimmery, lighter (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Trick is a slightly muted, medium-dark copper brown with warm undertones and a pearly shimmer-sheen finish. It had great, opaque coverage in a single stroke, and it had a creamy consistency that applied smoothly and evenly without tugging on the lash line. The color wore well for eight and a half hours on me. Urban Decay Starfire (PiP, $22.00) is more shimmery, cooler (95% similar). MAC Cockiness (LE, ) is more shimmery (90% similar). MAC Copperthorn (DC, $16.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). ColourPop Get Paid (P, $7.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). ColourPop Get Paid (P, $7.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Sunset (P, $26.00) is lighter (90% similar). MAC Copperthorn (P, $16.00) is more shimmery (85% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Solaris (Illuminate) (LE, ) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). ColourPop Nut (LE, $7.00) is more shimmery, lighter (85% similar). Smashbox 24K Rose (LE, $24.00) is lighter, cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Supply is a medium-dark, burgundy-brown with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation in one pass, but it was fully opaque after two layers. The texture was lightly creamy without being too waxy or too slippery, so it still had good wear at eight and a half hours but didn’t drag on the skin. MAC Raven (LE, $16.00) is darker (95% similar). Stila Lionfish (P, $22.00) is lighter (90% similar). MAC Broque (P, $17.00) is lighter (90% similar). Bobbi Brown Bronze (LE, $24.00) is lighter (90% similar). Tarina Tarantino Puppeteer (DC, $15.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Gentrified (DC, $16.00) is less shimmery, lighter (85% similar). NARS Broadway (P, $24.00) is lighter, brighter, cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

I love this set! I wish they would have subbed something else for Zero. I can get Cosmic on my waterline okay. I have to go over it a couple of times though. I actually prefer the sheerness of the white. I don’t like a stark white on my waterline. I hope UD makes the three exclusives permanent!
True! I bet they could have done maybe a brighter gold or true silver?
Yeah, that would have been really nice!
I love these sets! Even though UD liners are hardly 24/7 (at least not on me) – I can’t resist their fabulous liner color line 🙂
Monica.
LOL! 24/7 is a bit of a stretch 😉
I think this this set should’ve been $20 instead of $29 because the liners are small, and after sharpening a few times, there won’t be much left. But nice way to try the formula and some classic colors. It’s a skip for me because the UD liners don’t last on me.
I don’t know that I’ve ever finished a UD eyeliner, and I have used some regularly, so I think they last longer than they look!
Trick looks really pretty. Zero is a huge disappointment though, ugh.
I wish they’d done a different shade than Zero!
Ugh! If only I hadn’t had issues with the Perversion 24/7 pencil making my eyes tear like crazy, I sure would without question buy this set!!! Wish my eyes could deal with the UD formula.
Awww! 🙁 Perversion is a little different to me than the rest of the 24/7 line, but I wouldn’t risk it!
Shoot, I was hoping Cosmic would be something really special that could be layered over other colors. It’s just a mediocre frosty white. 🙁 The rest of the colors are nice, but I have Stag, and Zero coming out of of my ears. I wish a pop of color had been added instead of Zero.
🙁 So sad that the one the set is named after is the most disappointing!
Stag is really breathtaking. It’s one of the only brown liners I’ve ever wanted! I wish they sold it separately.
Nice! Maybe they’ll make it permanent one day.
Agree that Cosmic is the weak link in this set. I put it on with that teensy wayne goss brush (#8) in the inner corner. Helped a bit. The rest are so quintessentially fall, quite lovely. I noticed yours, via photo, seemed to be heat-affected. The tip broke off easily here in Boston, too. But, i think this set will get a fair amount of love in the weeks to come. Zero is the major Orgasm/Laguna of UD. If you’ve got one, you’ve got five. I give them away, esp. since i don’t often do black. E/L is where i pop the color.
Thanks for the tip, KJH!
This set looked promising, but I can’t get on with the fact that they still include Zero every time (Perversion is my go-to intense black pencil eyeliner, and much better in my opinion). Also, Cosmic is kind of disappointing. But the browns and coppers are pretty. Mixed feelings on this one!
I hear ya! Not all bad, but still…
Very pretty useful colours – I love Trick the best. This would be a great set. Lovely eye look Christine, as usual.
Trick is really nice!
I’m a sucker for UD liner sets, but I’m going to hold off on this one and MAYBE get it after the holidays if it’s still around. The colors are pretty, but nothing special. (Perfect brown and bronze tones for fall, though!) I have Yeyo from back in the day, and how many white eyeliners do you need? And I have so many black liners…
Fingers crossed it’s still around post-holidays!
Trick, Stag and Supply are so gorgeous! I think I’ll pass on the set but I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes out for a few dupes.
Those are the winners!
Blehh just more brown colors… I feel this is just an extension of their “Naked theme”, Naked matching eyeliners. I enjoy the holiday sets with different colors much more; perfect time to get festive and experiment with colors!
I bet they’ll have at least one more eyeliner set out!
I was hoping they would do this! I think I will be grabbing this up!
Woohoo!
I cannot stop using this set!!! I’m obsessed, seriously. I’m a neutral eyes kind of girl and these add a nice pop to a regular neutral eye.
Nice! I like the colors they picked.
