Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Stick Swatches
Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Stick ($26.00 for 0.049 oz.) signals the return of stick-style eyeshadows from the brand (this is actually their third version). There are 13 shades, which you’ll find swatched in this post. They actually went and put a 24-hour wear time claim on these, so we’ll see how that goes… 😜

Hmmm- I’m getting mixed messages here about these swatches – some look OK, some look good and lots look weak…a bit like the MAC paint pots.
That’s exactly how I feel when I look at them. 🙁
Yes, they seem kind of patchy.
I remember the last “incarnation” of the 24/7 shadow pencils and they were great while they lasted. I like that there are twist up rather than needing sharpening but they look a dismal lot, for the most part. Digitalized looks nice n the stick but the swatch doesn’t look too promising. Echoed looks pretty and versatile and the swatch itself doesn’t look too bad. I’m hoping Humid is a good one too.
The swatches actually looks better than my own expectation of UD products (based on recent releases).
The one or two colors I was interested in look patchy and not like anything special. Money saved, thanks.
These remind me a bit of Colourpop more than Urban Decay . I do miss the purple liners , liked Hexed and Voodoo
Chaos and Freak are a couple of my favorite Urban Decay eye liners. The swatches for these shades look pretty good. I may pick up a couple for a quick one and done eye look if they rate well.
I’m surprised there’s no purples.
I’ll bet the cost of good purple pigments as gone up lately. UD is all about cheapening their products of late.
The pencil line swatches look choppy but the wider samples look better overall with a few minutes exceptions. There are still other brands I prefer.
We’ll see is right. I hope they can last 10+ hours even. There are a couple shades I’m eyeing up just in case they work out.
I was really hoping Chaos & Freak would look better, I love and use both eyeliners. Unless these review well I’ll pass.
I got one in Echoed. Hope it works better in a warmer than 60 degree room later in the season. The tugging was OOC. Uncomfortable application. Not a bit like the older versions. No creamy, then dry down. It did last at least 8 hours, though. Very disappointed. Hope mine is a one-off.
Surely I can’t be the only one grossed out by a brown shade named “Roach”? 😬
Ollld name. I thought ‘cockroach’ at first, before I remembered that UD was noted for drug references. I think the name goes way back to the 90s or 00s.
It’s actually named after the Cockroach, the shimmery brown mimics their color. I mean, the company is called Urban Decay, which is why there’s names like Roach, Oil Slick, Mildew. They’re all OG names-in fact, I still have my Roach lipstick from when I first found UD at Nordstrom in the 90s.
Indeed. Roach was the first UD single shadow I ever bought. I still have one lying around somewhere.
Freak!!! I killed my freak eyeliner making it into eyeshadow. I miss the old eyeshadow sticks.
Why why why would a company EVER call something you put on your face (or anywhere for that matter) MILDEW?!?
I mean, people are rubbing a blush called “Deep Throat” on their cheeks all over the world.
I like the name, it fits how the color looks (super beautiful, shimmery grey-olive-green) along with the grunge-y roots that UD started with!
Hmmm. Some of these definitely look like they would be best used as almost like a primer or base for a similar shade.
