Most used product of the week: Pacifica Coconut Probiotic Water Rehab Cream. Due to a 2-week long bout of migraines, I wasn’t wearing makeup most days.

Any new beauty discoveries: The Wet n Wild Zombie blush looks really amazing on.

My skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral to cool – I wear Lancome Teint Idole 100N.

Favorite look you wore: EYES – UD Primer Potion for primer, Dominique Cosmetics’ Lemonade Palette – shade Nude Tea to set. Then used the bottom corner of my Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette (Sandalwood, Henna, Coco) to do a warm smoky eye. Used Nude Tea to re-do the lid to be brighter. FACE – Smashbox photo finish primer, Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation in LC1 – Milk Flex Concealer in Fair – MJ Tantastic Bronzer. LIPS – MAC Whirl & Dose of Colors Desi x Katy Aftermath lipstick.

Most used product of the week: NARS Orgasm Afterglow lipbalm – been trying to use it up.

Any new beauty discoveries:Surprised this Physician’s Formula matches so well, so I’m thrilled about that!

My skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones, MAC NC37, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.

Favorite look you wore: Good question! It’s a toss up between last Saturday (taupes and burgundy) and then Tuesday (greens and dusky peach). So here’s another green look! Eyes: MAC Glamour Light on browbone, ABH Dawn transition, Huda Beauty Emerald Obsessions #7 crease, #9 tearduct, #3 inner lid arched upward, #4 outer lid arched upwards and over to meet with #3, #1 on mid lid for the most blingy bright halo lid I’ve ever done! Followed with my usual black upper lashline eye liners and mascara, used #3 and #4 on lower lashline and Sephora T-Rex. Cheeks: UD Jawbone, MAC Burnt Pepper blush, and ABH Amrezy highlighter. Lips: Nyx Earthtone SLP, MAC Marque Ultimate Lipstick and Becca Beach Nectar applied very lightly.

Most used product of the week: Just all my usual HG products, ie; Maybelline Full & Soft WP Mascara, Essence Midnight In Paris Gel Liner. Smashbox Always On eye pencil in Fishnet, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360.

Any new beauty discoveries: Probably going to use my MJ See-quins Beauty Topaz differently next time. Probably with either a glitter primer or spray the brush with Fix+ to keep it from transferring to the hooded part of my lid.

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look you wore: City Colour Cleo on my lids, with Tide Pool on the lower lid and Sandstorm in the crease, paired with Clarins Joli Rouge Spicy Cinnamon on my lips.

Most used product of the week: My City Colour eyeshadows.

Any new beauty discoveries: That the City Colour eyeshadows are great value and excellent eyeshadows, especially for the price.

My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: just this morning to the gym (yes, I do wear some makeup to the gym so I can look half presentable if I’m doing errands on the way home) – UD Salt e/s (from the Beached palette) on my mobile lid, Sephora Cashmere coat in the crease and I can’t remember what I used to line but it was probably Sephora Cappuccino; MAC Sweet Sentiment on cheeks and Hourglass Visionary Lip Stylo on lips
Most used product of the week: MAC Craving and Sephora Cappuccino
Any new beauty discoveries: that I actually like the Glamglow Nude face illuminator that came in the Sephora birthday gift.

My skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15 – 20, med brown hair and eyes

Favorite look you wore: I’ve worn MAC Blue Brown type shades all week. I’ve loved the Butter London Eye Duo in Fancy Flutter. I’ve put the satiny peach shade in the crease and the blue brown type shade on the eyelid. Added Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow in Sugar to the browbone. Cargo Swimmables Eyeliner in Pebble Beach on upper lashline. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes to my lashes. Mixed NARS Madly and Orgasm on the cheeks

Most used product of the week: The Butter London Eyeshadow Duo in Fancy Flutter. NARS Orgasm and Madly Blush. Plus all my staple base products

Any New Beauty Discoveries: That I don’t like an all matte eyeshadow look. I need shimmer somewhere. Loved Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow in Sailor for an inner corner highlight this week!

Jane Avatar

My skin tone/coloring: yellow-neutral N37ish

Favorite look you wore: Couldn’t remember the details of the look, but I used Estée Lauder Double Wear Water Fresh foundation in 4N1 Shell Beige, Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch (as my primer), ND’s Star palette (pulled it out of hiding), and Guerlain Rouge G in n°2.

Most used product of the week: Fenty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter palette

Any new beauty discoveries: Fenty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter palette (don’t have any of her kilowatts other than this palette)

So far though, I’m a tad disappointed in the Fenty palette. It really didn’t plan to use it as a “highlighter” palette (quite satisfied that with my two Huda solstice palettes and a few other single highlighter I have, that that is enough), so I really wanted the colors to work more for eyeshadows and they don’t quite work (for me). That said I understand why as I’ve reviewed Rihanna’s “style” for how to use them and it’s sort of like doing impressionist artwork ont the face, very avant garde, natural and simple with looks of “wash’ or “watercolor-like” ways of applying. It may work, but it hasn’t up to now been my style, so I’ll have to work with it.
Has anyone else found a way to use the kilowatts as eyeshadows?

My skin tone/colouring: Fair/ cool (? See below), dark brown hair, blue eyes.
Favorite look you wore: I’ve been doing my own makeup challenge where I tell someone to pick a colour and I incorporate it into my eyeshadow. Before my weekly voluntary gig with the elderly, I was given red. Oh no!
So I toned it down, used an Elf eye primer (tends to make shadow less pigmented than others), and wore UD Bailout, Riot, and Relish on the lid (inner to outer), Knockout in the crease, and the black in that palette as a liner. UD Vice Faith on the lips. (Maybelline Full and Soft mascara, Boots No 7 foundation) Wore a simple understated outfit to make it slightly less scary. Got heaps of compliments.
Most used product of the week: Maybelline Full and Soft mascara.
Any new beauty discoveries: I went to the Mac counter for the first time, looking for a nude lipstick (my go to is Boots No 7 in Honey Bloom, but I was looking for something a little less safe). I learned so much in a very short time period, including that I’m probably cool leaning neutral and slightly olive toned (I’m very white, so this came of something of a surprise) and that my lips are more naturally pigmented than average so I shouldn’t try to go too nude with the lips, I need to go slightly darker. Pondering after I left (I bought the Whirl lipstick and lip liner pack), it makes sense in terms of the difficulty I’ve had working out what makeup will work with my skin. But still, mind blown.

My skin tone/coloring: NW10/15
Favorite look you wore: Oh, I’ve been so lazy about makeup lately…I just did a sharp-edged cateye with a bold red lip last week, though.
Most used product of the week: Chanel’s Powder/Balm lip duo in Rosso Parthenope. God, I wish I’d bought six of these. It’s an incredible product. The only red lip I’ve ever had that doesn’t feather on me, and it’s easy to apply.
Any new beauty discoveries: Not recently. Victoria Secret’s mascara is not anything to write home about, I am sad to report.

My skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones and freckles, green/blue/gray eyes and warm brown hair.

Favorite look you wore: I did a bright pink/orange smokey eye using some of the brights palettes I have and I LOVE how it turned out. I really love bright eyeshadow right now.

Most used product of the week: The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter and L’Oreal Glotion, though, for different purposes.

Any new beauty discoveries: Pixi H2O Skintint (I love formulas like that for my base), and Pixi Cheek Gel stain in Flushed. Such a beautiful wintery color on my cheeks.
