Tom Ford Beauty Desert Fox Eye Color Quad ($88.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a new, warm-toned neutral quad that had semi-opaque to opaque coverage with three matte shades and one shimmer shade. It performed well overall and sat well on the lid.

Desert Fox #1 is a medium peach with strong, warm orange undertones and a matte finish. It applied darker than it appeared in the pan. The texture was soft, smooth, and silky with a smidgen of powderiness in the pan. It had nearly opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin. This shade lasted well for seven hours before fading visibly.

Desert Fox #2 is a medium brown with warm, more orange undertones and a matte finish. It had rich color coverage with a smooth, silky consistency that had light slip and wasn’t powdery at all, yet it blended out beautifully on my skin. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

It’s a cohesive quad true to its name and all the shades rate well. Being too orangey, it’s not my cup of tea, but I think the matte shades will appeal to those who are tired of everything being shimmery.
It’s nice. I do wish that #4 was noticably deeper than #2, enough to create some real contrast.
I like a good matte palette that isn’t all about glitter. This would be perfect for summer.
It’s good that this got a decent rating, in light of how dismal some of the Tom Ford quads have performed but these aren’t my colours at all and, to me, this doesn’t seem like a lot of “bang” for 88 bucks! (or 110 bucks here in Canada).
