Tom Ford Copper Chic & Metal Flame Lip Lacquer Liquid Metal Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Copper Chic
Tom Ford Beauty Copper Chic Lip Lacquer Liquid Metal ($54.00 for 0.09 oz.) is a medium, rosy copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips. The finish emphasized my lip lines slightly as there was a touch of color that gathered in my deeper lip lines, but the high-shine finish made it hard to detect from a normal viewing distance. The gloss was lightweight but had a light-medium thickness and noticeable tackiness, which helped it last for a solid five hours on me. The formula was comfortable and hydrating to wear.

Formula Overview
$54.00/0.09 oz. - $600.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be a "liquid-gel" that optically "plumps" the lips due to the "mirror-like" finish. It is supposed to be "long-wearing" with "stay-true color" that is hydrating. They are fairly pigmented with most shades being opaque in one layer. The texture was smooth, light-medium in thickness but felt lightweight, and had moderate tackiness, though I'd say less tackiness than most other formulas I've tried that are similar (other opaque, metallic glosses). The wear ranged from five to six hours, and my lips felt hydrating during and after wear. They had a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Metal Flame
Tom Ford Beauty Metal Flame Lip Lacquer Liquid Metal ($54.00 for 0.09 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark orange-red with warm undertones and fine, golden shimmer. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer that applied fairly evenly. I noticed subtle streaking just along the outer edge of my lower lip in the close-up photo but couldn’t see that in person. The gloss seemed to be more smoothing of my lip lines compared to Copper Chic. The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and had moderate tackiness but did not feel heavy or glue-like. It wore well for six hours and was hydrating while worn.

Metal Flame is gorgeous!
Metal Flame is a magnificent shade! But I don’t know how I feel about the streakiness, although subtle? I’ve been wanting a lip color in this particular shade forever. TF Hiro is *STILL* on my WL! LOL, when is he coming home with me, anyhow?
Copper Chic is just a fabulous shade….
Beautiful, both of them.
