Tom Ford Alias Lip Spark Review & Swatches
Alias
Tom Ford Beauty Alias Lip Spark ($56.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark coral-red with moderate, warm undertones paired with a gold-shimmered, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, lightly emollient consistency that was lightweight, thin but easy to glide on across my lips in a fluid motion.
The formula settled very slightly into my deeper lip lines, but for as metallic as it was, it was minimal. The color stayed on nicely for five hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$56.00/0.1 oz. - $560.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to "look" like "loose glitter on lips" with "uniform payoff" and "multidimensional color" paired with an "emollient" feel. The pigmentation varied from medium to semi-opaque that adhered evenly and fairly smoothly to my lips. The consistency varied from emollient without any grit/texture from the glittery bits to slightly noticeable during application but didn't feel gritty or rough to me while worn (for any of the shades).
The texture had slip but was lightweight and on the thinner side, so it did not feel slippery. Only one shade was problematic--Surge--which clumped up and was sheerer compared to the other shades. They lasted between four and six hours and were lightly hydrating over time. They had a hint of vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Thank you for the swatches, Christine.
I purchased this during the Sephora sale and I have to say I’m disappointed with the description they had on the website, which was ‘a deep red with orange sheen’. Seems to me it is none of those things 😀
It’s a pretty colour, but not at all what they stated. I was hoping you would review it so I could see if it was just mine that was wrong.
This is quite possibly the prettiest Lip Spark yet! I’m really loving the rich color on it combined with the gold shimmer. It’s definitely my kind of color!
I love that shade – it so reminds me of PMG’s Electra and both are very expensive.
I have Dazed Lip Spark it has a silver finish, now I want this! I still have time to use my 20% if there are any in stock!
Wow. The last time I had a shade like this, I had ‘dad jeans.’ What goes around, comes around.
I generally don’t care for coral lipsticks, but this is a beauty. Whereas brights are lovely in the winter, and perhaps just what’s needed, I want this for summer. A wide brimmed hat and this lipstick in glorious sunshine. Yup, that’s what I want right now, just about 6 months to go.
This is so beautiful. I have UD Seether, and considering the price of this, that will be close enough.
