Terra Moons Spring 2021 Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches

Hydra
Terra Moons Hydra Duochrome Eyeshadow ($8.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a warmer, brownishb ase with flecks of purple to violet shifting sparkle. It was more emollient but loosely-pressed, which resulted in a chunkier consistency that was prone to fallout. It was harder to apply it with a dry brush, and I found the best method to apply it was fingertips or a dampened brush. It lasted for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$8.50/0.05 oz. - $170.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "blendable" and "pigmented" with "a bit of kick up" when used due to being "pressed by hand." Some shades come with "additional information" such as being sheerer on the brand's website (for that particular shade) or to use a "glitter primer" due to the finish.
I found that some matte shades were more noticeably powdery than others, but whether there was just a little bit of powderiness or more noticeable powderiness really depended on a shade. The neon shades were the most powdery and hardest to work with on their own; some had more specific tips/guidance on how to work with them, which I felt was great for disclosure, but it could get hard to remember what shade needs to be applied in such and such fashion since it really did vary a lot shade by shade. The darker and less neon matte shades tended to perform the best for me--more pigmentation, better blendability, and were easier to work with and were more consistent.
Most shades--matte and more shimmery--were pigmented, easy to blend, and applied well to bare skin. They lasted between seven and eight hours with most closer to eight hours before fading (more of the mattes) or creasing (some of the more intense metallics).

These are all beautiful. One of these days I need to place an order. I only have one shadow from them, Red Dwarf.
Terra Moon, you are snatching my heart! (And my wallet!) I must get Starlet and Purple Cloud! Those two are very special. So is Hydra, but I have too many dupes for it already.
These are all beautiful shades and a number of them complement each other – like the two blues. I do like Comet and that lovely grey shade the best.
Oh my gosh, I am adding these to my wishlist. I can never decide on single eyeshadows, and so I never end up buying any… but these are quite unique and so it makes deciding easier for me!
I bought Purple Clouds and a few others. I only have the white ones I use for inner corners so I’m excited to try new ones!
There is something about TerraMoon’s shimmer formula that is just so yummy!
