In our closet, we have some small shelves that I’ve put various fragrances on–maybe a dozen or so–and then I swap them out every so often. There’s no real rhyme or reason on how I pick one over the other, though, just that I like the scent.
Eau de Parfum for me! I find it gives me the level of intensity and longevity I prefer. Like if I put on perfume, I want to put on perfume.
I like woodier, spicier scents for sure, and I tend to like a little vanilla in the dry down to add some sweetness. Floral tends to tickle my nose in a bad way.
NO, NEVER!! Obviously, I write reviews for Temptalia. I very seldom leave reviews on retailer sites, though, but you know, I’m kind of dedicated to reviewing here so doing more seems unreasonable!
I love travel-sized sets of products that already last awhile, like blush, single eyeshadows, etc. I also love the influx in shimmer/sparkle! I also like when luxury-priced brands release more “affordable” options during the holiday season.
I’m not a fan of most mega-palettes that get launched–they often feel like they don’t receive as much planning/effort as other launches, so they often under-perform as a result.
I’d love to see more red lipstick with shimmer! I don’t know why shimmery red lipsticks aren’t more forthcoming during the holiday season. I really hope for a Celestial Divinity II (or similar) from Pat McGrath.
If I’m looking at reviews on a retailer, I look for longer reviews that are more in-depth and detailed – usually not using exaggerations when describing product performance. If it’s more of an individual person, then I like to go back to reviews of products I have tried in the past, which...
