Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I was recently at my local Sephora and Ulta (they’re both in the same outdoor mall), sniffed some perfumes, sprayed some sample papers, and fell for a couple Margiela Replicas-Jazz Club (which a friendly SA also recommended after seeing my self-labeled papers!) and Coffee Break. I may have to get some travel sizes…

Paloma..yes, wore it in the last ‘cold’ spell. Other 80s: Niki de Saint Phalle and Capucci de Capucci. 80s had some pretty big scents, to match the shoulder pads. Nothing light or summery about them. I’m the opposite of gourmand and contemporary, but still can get some great recs from the Muse!

YSL Black Opium Nuit something, Avon x Christian LaCroix Absynthe. And as of trying it out last winter, I also like Maison Margiela Replica By The Fireplace because it reminds me of autumn in New Jersey when people begin to use their, well, fireplaces! In it, I also smell fall leaves, warm fuzzy sweaters and long drives up into Upstate New York with its pumpkin and apple groves. Just brings me back home for a minute.

Dior Addict (blue bottle)…since 2002 my favorite! This year i am breaking out the Chantecaille Frangipane and Guerlain Chamade. Just to switch it up and some Shalimar here and there. Dior Addict perfume is the only thing I buy backups of … I live in fear it will be discontinued 🥲
