I usually try to match the undertone (cool/warm) with my clothes, and then I’ll usually use the color to accent or incorporate, but it depends on how bold/dark what I’m wearing is. I’ve been more known to change clothes to accommodate a makeup look than the other way around!

Nope, not at all. I think it’s fun when you show your preferences enough that others know you love XYZ style or color or product, but I don’t personally need to have a specific look to be known for.

I don’t think so; my mom didn’t wear makeup, but she didn’t speak about makeup negatively. It was more of a neutral thing; unnecessary to be beautiful but there was no undertone of “makeup is evil” or “makeup is superficial” that I picked up on.
I used to use my cleansing oil on-the-go, but these days, there are a ton of solid brush soaps, so I’ll use one of those — either EnKore Makeup’s, Japonesque’s, or Beautyblender’s.
