Highlighters! I just love a good highlighter — something about the powder’s texture and then how it looks on the skin.

I usually apply with a tapered, moderately dense brush about medium in size, like the Wayne Goss #2. I tap along the cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose, on the cupid’s bow, and just below the center of my bottom lip.
What a brutal question! Tom Ford Pink Glow palette, Laura Geller Ballerina, Laura Mercier #01 Matte Radiance. I always said I had a weakness for a good highlighter.
Years ago, I contoured my cheeks on a near-daily basis, but these days, I don’t usually contour. The irony is probably that I needed less contouring then compared to now!
Be more discerning about purchases and make less impulsive purchases. Return things I hate more often. Try a variety of colors/finishes sooner to have a better idea of what I want to have in my arsenal in the future.
Nothing comes to mind as a strong possibility; I am certain it was a MAC holiday palette, probably in 2004 or 2005, I think.
It was either MAC Studio Fix Fluid or MAC Face & Body, but I think it was Studio Fix Fluid! (Do you see a trend? Perhaps MAC was my gateway brand, eh?)
I am 75% confident that it was MAC Sweetie, which is kind of a neutral pinky-plum.
I’m pretty sure it was MAC Margin! 🙂 I hit pan before I got a second blush, I think!
