Sydney Grace Always and Forever Blush Review & Swatches
Always and Forever
Sydney Grace Always and Forever Pressed Blush ($9.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a pale pink with neutral-to-cool undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, velvety texture that was a smidgen powdery in the pan but didn’t read powdery or dry when applied to bare skin.
I preferred application over more matte skin or just-powdered skin as it was more prone to darkening when applied directly atop bare skin or unset liquid/cream foundation. The color applied evenly to my skin and diffused without much effort to reveal a more satin-to-matte finish–not shimmery but not flat. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

It's a more pigmented blush, so it favors those who need or want richer coverage achieved with less product or in one layer, but those who prefer sheerer, more buildable blush may find there is a learning curve. The formula was very blendable and easy to work with, so I think it is more forgiving, particularly shades with some shimmer in them. The matte shades can be slightly powdery but do not look dry or dusty when applied, though they can darken a bit if not applied over drier or more matte skin (or a base). They wore between eight and 10 hours on me before fading noticeably.

Gorgeous option for lighter peeps than me, I think. Then again, it does darken over unset skin, so perhaps it would work on me during winter? Just not sure how deep it could go.
I like this. Basic pink blushes are getting harder to find.
I loved Paris Skies, so I just bought this one as well. I missed the new palette, but am backordered for that, so I figured I might as well add on a few extras. Suddenly I had purchased a stupid amount of stuff, but I couldn’t resist.
Thanks for the application tip. This one is tricky on me as well.. darkening on the edges which looks bizarre. It’s really pretty layered over bronzer of even a deeper raspberry or mauve blush.
I’ll try it layered. Idk if it darkened or not, but it seems to be a match for my skintone, therefore invisible. The SG pic makes it look so much darker than it is. Lovely texture. DRAT! I just saw the sales and deals addendum. I am doomed.
Thanks for the SG blush reviews! I normally don’t do indie brands but I love SG.
I really like the look of this finish – very pretty, quite polished too.
What a lovely shade. I’m NC15 so I may have to check this out.
Wow, that blush shade looks gorgeous on you, Christine! Especially combined with that lip color. Very soft and pretty. I’m almost tempted to get it, but I must stick to my no-buy.
