Surratt Beauty Rougeur Artistique Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Surratt Beauty Rougeur Artistique Blush
Surratt Beauty Rougeur Artistique Blush ($32.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “classic rouge.” It’s a lightly brightened, raspberry red with subtle, cool undertones and a satiny sheen. Make Up For Ever #510 HD Blush (P, $26.00) is warmer, cream. Kevyn Aucoin Neolita (P, $37.00) is lighter, more muted. Bobbi Brown Berry (LE, $26.00) is darker. MAC Keep It Casual (LE, $20.00) is warmer, cream. Chanel Rouge (LE, $45.00) is slightly darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
It’s quite pigmented with a soft, velvety texture that feels almost like a cream but is definitely a powder. It’s a deeper, richer shade that would be excellent on all skin tones, though you may need a light hand and the right brush in your arsenal if you are light-medium or fairer. Applied with a lighter hand, it takes on more of a raspberry pink look and as it is blended out, the finish becomes more and more luminous–but never emphasizes pores–that’s natural and gives skin life. The color lasts eight and a half hours on me before fading.

Sounds like a winner! I bet it feels sooooo soft… 🙂 I love that it adds radiance to your skin but doesn’t emphasize pores.
The texture is amazing!
OMG! Loved the shade! This might just be my first blush from the brand!!
OOH! 😀
This blush is super gorgeous! It looks so pretty on you Christine!
Thanks, Kellee!
Reminds me of Tarte’s Natural Beauty a bit.
Nice to know!
Oh. My. God.
I WANT.
Let me know if you try it, Alison!
Wow… This one is super nice and looks like it would be nice for my deeper skin tone! I like that it has a more satiny look that just a flat matte.
I think it would be great on your skin tone, Shars!
So pretty on the face!
It is!
That shade is amazing. On a no Rosacea day this would be perfect!
It is nice!
Oooh, pretty colour
Glad ya liked it, Patrick 😀
really pretty! i’ve never heard of this brand. where is it sold?
Barneys!
Have my first Surratt blush winging it’s way to me. I chose a more muted shade, but I think this is gorgeous
OoOoO! Fingers crossed it lives up to expectations!
GASP….someone get me some air!!! This is heart-stoppingly beautiful!
It’s SO bold!
i just got my first surratt blush (giamauve) yesterday! i can’t wait to test it out!
YAYYYYY!!
Your skin looks so flawless! Can you please tell me which foundation/concealer you’re using?
THE MAKEUP LOOK
On face: Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation, Urban Decay Naked Loose Finishing Powder. On lips: MAC Feeling Fine Lipglass.
I think I’ll pass, looks a little too bright for me.
Totally understand – it is a deeper/richer shade!
Ohhh I would love this colour on my lips. Do you have a dupe of this on any lip products?

That is so pretty! I love how it blends out to that glowy berry color.
Me too! The finish is fantastic as well.
This is gonna be my 30th bday present to me! Will I need the case for it too?
It comes in a slim plastic case, which is all right for home-use, but it’s not great for toting around!
Gawjeus..Gawjeus…GORGEOUS! Melissa is right…can almost tell that it goes on soo smooth just by looking at it!
So true!
I havent yet tried any of such bright red kind of blushes.. I am a little scraed if I will be able to pull off but i want to try atleast once to see how they turn up on me.. I shall start with some drugstore dupe 😉
You should try, Poo!
I just bought Inglot AMC Blush No: 66 last week… similar to this but more rouge… I think.
Sounds pretty 🙂
Oof, that is a really pretty raspberry pink/red… I rather like the Bobbi Brown one in the dupe list too – shame it was LE! 😛 This is an area of my blush collection that doesn’t have a representative yet either… hm.. 😉
I feel like so many brands will put out this type of shade as a LE color, so it’s cool to see it in the core range!
The color is beautiful and so perfect for fall. I love it!!
It would be lovely on your skin tone, Fancie!
What a beautiful color!
It’s really bold but not too bright!
