The Artistique Blush formula is supposed to have a “naturally glowing finish.” The formula is consistent: the blushes have a very soft, almost cream-like powder texture that blends out effortlessly to a luminous sheen with semi-opaque to opaque coverage (that is easily applied more sheerly or layered for true-to-pan color) and good wear (eight to nine hours). Peau de Pêche is bright without being neon, which I think is a struggle for a lot of orange-toned shades. I also liked that it was still more orange than it was red. The pigmentation was fully opaque, but I felt like I could easily control the intensity by using less or blending/sheering the powder out, as the powder had a very silky, finely-milled consistency that worked well on bare skin. On me, the color wore well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
A note on packaging: Surratt’s range comes in lightweight plastic pans, which aren’t ideal for long-term use (particularly if traveling or putting in a makeup bag), as his products are designed to be put into custom palette solutions. Personally, I put magnets on the back of each and keep them in freestyle palettes (like a Z-Palette) as it is more economical.

Gorgeous shade – reminds me a lot of MAC Peaches! Price is way out of range for me though – can’t justify that kind of money when there are other brands available!
I can see what you mean!
Very pretty! But I’m glad it’s not a good color for me because there are already several of these that I want!
Phew! 😉
Wow, that’s pretty!! A lot brighter than it looks in the pan.
It is a beauty!
Pretty but possibly too warm for me.
Darn!
Beautiful, especially come springtime! Thankfully, not a yellow leaning orange, either. Red leaning I can do, but not yellow leaning, or I look jaundiced. This is a definate “maybe”!
YAY! 🙂
Christine, this is a brand that I’m unfamiliar with and is not sold at any local stores so I have a question for you. Would you take a picture holding the product in your hand for perspective… if you review another color from the line? Thank you.
Sorry, I already shot all of these photos! 🙁
Ooh it’s absolutely lovely on you! I have this on my wishlist (along with at least half of the new e/s shades)!
Christine, how would you compare it to the Givenchy Le Prisme Vogue Orange blush? The Surratt blush looks much brighter to me, more of a true orange (ironic given the names!). I usually just swirl all the colours together with the Givenchy blush so it ends up a dusky apricot on me. Different enough to be justifiable?
Loving the last few neutral shades from this brand!!!
Woohoo!
