IDK, Helmut Newton’s photos were iconic and provocative, but this collection feels very blah. There’s no special packaging that I can see on the products, and the colors are very basic and common.

I bought all of them in store yesterday, and I have to say that I love them all!
Great quality! Even the dark one stays perfectly on without looking patchy on me
If I have to pick a fave its High heels, it’s so bright!

I really like “Influential” but is “Point n Shoot” just the new name for Carbon?
I really like the color scheme here, as far as muted eyes and bold lips. It’s definitely a pass for me just because I have so many similar colors, but I like the idea behind it. For all my love of color I’ve really been getting into more simple looks lately.
I like the colors, but I’m not too big on these actual swatches…
As much as I actually love a good neutral smokey eye, these look very blah. I would rather make my own out of some of MAC’s better smokey neutrals. And also, after getting Como La Flor and Dreaming Of You, plus Chanel Rouge Vie, I am seriously all redded out for now!
The lips are all quite nice, I don’t care for mattes but they don’t look as flat as most.
The lips are nice. I’d do hard currency as a single, but it leans awfully cool in this group. The darker 2 swatches need to be outstanding in a quad that is so dupable. And you hit it, Mariella. Point ‘n shoot IS the ‘new’ carbon.
I agree. Hard Currency doesn’t quite fit the quad. I do really love the color, and would also have gone for it as a single.
I really like the deep plum of Self Portrait!
Very average and it seems the quality is lacking for someone whose photographs were stunning. The lip colours, whilst beautiful shades, look very drying and dehydrating to me.
The quad looks sooo much like the Brant Brothers one O_o
Yep, that’s what I thought when I saw the promo pic! Except for that 1 gray, the quad looks like it got recycled from the Brant Brothers collection, or even that Pillars of the Earth quad from Vibe Tribe. And you’d think they would slap a Helmut Newtom photo on the lid, but nope.
I like those lip colors a lot, though nothing here strikes me as particularly unique.
Completely disinterested. I’m tiring of the extreme matte lipstick look.
I was never into this extreme matte liquid lipstick look, but with fall/winter here, the last thing I need is for lips to look (or feel) any drier or more matte. Wearing these matte liquid lipsticks is like wearing high heels all day long, give me a comfy gloss!
