I really really love the excellent variety of matte looking mid tones in this palette. The swatches do not look consistent though and some dicey (All’s Rosy..terrific colour, but didn’t swatch so well). I like the palette as a whole very much.
Uh oh, glad I held off on this one. Glad there’s an all-matte palette but definitely looks like a mixed bag here, with some shades probably ok with primer and others look really weak. Thanks for the sneak peek, will await your review
So excited to get this! I’ve got one on hold already. The swatches look decent and mostly new colors (YAY). Raven-eyed looks like a great alternative to Carbon. I’m going in a few weeks to get a makeover and i will be picking up this and a few Look In A Box bags. ??
Wow, I don’t think I’ve seen a MAC palette swatching so good in a while, especially with all matte shades! I’ll be curious to see how they perform on the eyes.
Since we won’t be getting this palette here, I’m definitely going to be on the look out for dupes of You’re Blushing, Demitasse, Choc-ful, All’s Rosy and Ooh La Cafe! They look like my perfect on-the-go rosy nude matte palette.
I like maybe 3 of these of which I already own soft brown. So a pass from me.
I’m intrigued. Look forward to your review. Thanks for the sneak peek!
This palette was actually out in the Nordstrom I was at this weekend. After swatching the shades in-store, I wasn’t impressed enough to purchase it. I’m VERY curious to hear what you think about it (esp. since I passed!) I opted instead for the new MAC mascara and eyeshadow.
Interesting color selection, though the quality looks variable. Pinch of Sage is very interesting, and I’ll be eager to see dupes.
Not sure what I think about this palette yet. I think I’ll just sit tight and wait for your review. Not sure why they *again* included Dance In The Dark, it’s becoming a constant in too many MAC palettes! On the other hand, I also see some beautiful rosy shades that love!
Loving these matte shades. On my must by list. Hope the reviews are good.
This looks good enough for me! I’ll bite!! Most Mac palettes don’t look this good overall, and to have an all-matte one that’s decent-to-good? I’ll take it!! Love the rosy shades!!!
I like this! I put together my own all matte neutral palette, but this would be even better for work travel. I can always make any MAC shadow work no matter how wonky it looks in swatches. Thanks for the sneak peek!
Definitely a must for me!!! The majority of them seem really good. I love Mac shadows and have a couple palettes already. They always seem to draw me in! I’ve been waiting for swatches. Can’t wait for the review! ?
Lots of lovely matte tones for the matte lovers here and the swatches seem to be pretty good, a few weak ones though. That is great news.
Do I spy some neutral mattes for my green-blue eyes!! Yay!! I just ordered Marc Jacob’s The Enigma palette, so this one might be too similar. But I like it!
I have an Embark from a few years ago, and it doesn’t have as much red as this one. Interesting.
Can’t wait to see your review!
Quality wise first impressions are good. Not sure if the whole palette combo is my cup of tea though.
I scrolled through the swatches, then I had to scroll back and look at them again. Compared to a lot of the MAC palettes I’ve seen, this one looks really promising.
MAC – originally a CANADIAN company (I know this is no longer the case) – is ticking me off with all their LE/exclusive products that simply aren’t available to us Janie Canucks!!! Y’know, even when you change your citizenship, you usually maintain some tender feeling for the land of your birth. Not MAC, though! I’ll be eager to see dupes for a few of the shades, especially Pinch of Sage, Dance in the Dark (is that a repromote? the name seems familiar), and Dash of Mocha.
Somehow, I don’t know how, I have zero MAC shadows in my collection. I ordered this and am hoping it will be a good palette. The only one that doesn’t look good to me is Pinch of Sage, because I’m not really a fan of greenish-browns (or at least, my skintone isn’t).
Fogged In looks like something I’d love. I can’t wait to see the dupe list.
Thank you so much for your timely review! I saw this on Friday & was thinking of nothing else all weekend! These colors are not for me, after seeing your swatches. I cannot wear pink shades as they clash with my skintone, and the majority are just that shade. I already have Soft Brown, Dance in the Dark & Embark. I will save my money for other Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items specifically the Charlotte Tilbury & Laura Mercier palettes.
I don’t know why but, lately, Mac eyeshadows don’t appeal to me anymore – though I still have Satin Taupe and Shroom as my numbers 1 and 2 fav…There are so many excellent, buttery choices (UD, Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks) that I just can’t bring myself to buy a Mac eyeshadow anymore – perhaps I had to many missed ones…the colors on this one are pretty though!!
