Estee Lauder LA Noir Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with cool, pinkish undertones and a natural sheen. It didn't have quite as much glossiness as other shades in the range, and it had more translucency, but it applied evenly and sat particularly well on my lips.
The color payoff was more semi-opaque, somewhat buildable, while the consistency felt lightweight, slightly thinner than was typical of the range, but it was still lightly emollient and comfortable to apply. The color was going strong after six hours of wear, left a stain behind, and felt hydrating while worn.
