I caved for the coconut fix+! Ordered it from Macy’s with store pick up so I can go get it at lunch ? I couldn’t resist that tropical scent and packaging…
It’s also available at Macy’s.com. I ordered two bottles of the coconut Fix+ this morning, and it’s waiting for me to come pick it up!
I am loving Si Si Me! But, Christine, is it close to NARS Stefania in color? I checked your database to see if it there was a comparison listed, but it’s not there. But they look very similar in color. Stefania is so pretty but if Si Si Me is a close to dupe, I could pay half the price…
You can compare any two swatches that I have here (regardless of whether they’re dupes or not, you could compare an eyeshadow to a lipstick!) – http://www.temptalia.com/swatch-gallery/#sbs
Christine, I have question about the swatch gallery. I wanted to look up comparisons for the tangerine color in Chanel’s Sunkiss Ribbon blush (spring 2016) but the tangerine color wasn’t listed specifically in the review, even though there is a swatch. I can’t figure out how to get from the swatch of the tangerine shade to the dupes and then on to comparing swatches.
If it wasn’t listed as a shade, then it won’t be in the Swatch Gallery as a shade!
They got me with this one! ^_^
I ordered from Nordstrom and then when it went live, I ordered more from MAC’s website. lol.
I think I’m most excited about the Cremesheen Glasses, Fix + and the Face Powder!
I’ve been stalking the internet for this for weeks, thinking they might launch early. But I snagged everything I wanted from Nordstroms -the Passion face powder, Si Si Me lippie, Love in the Glades shadow palette, and Coconut spray ! Should have them next week, can’t wait. Thanks for reviewing and swatching these!
I stalked Mac’s web site all day yesterday but it didn’t go up early. By the time I checked this morning, the Fix+ was sold out. Also sold out at Nordstrom.com. I got lucky at macys.com and ordered the coconut Fix+ and La Salsa lip gloss. Can’t wait to get them!
Me too!! I took the dog out and when I got back it was sold out! Thanks guys for the Macy’s tip?I saw it on eBay but it was $43 the cheapest.
Luckily for me, I pre-saled everything on my wishlist yesterday evening! Except for Oh My Banana, due to a blatant oversight on my part where I failed to notice that this one item is an online exclusive…a little embarrassing. So, of course, I stayed up till 2 a.m. refreshing MAC’s page! Fell out only to have a cat wake me at 5:45-ish (BIRDS!), good thing though, as it went live maybe 20 minutes later! Nabbed Oh My Banana thanks to a phloofy white cat going into her imaginary hunting mode, LOL!
Si Si Me is awesome!
This is one of MAC’s most successful releases in a long time, where nearly all of the products have received a great rating. About time too. Beautiful shades.
I ordered the coconut fix+ and the Cha Cha Cha Cremesheen Glass. Initially I wanted the Pearlmatte Face Powder as well, but I’ve got two of the new Ciaté Go-To Illuminating Blushes and one of them (Date Night) looks very close on my skin to the swatches of Oh, my passion.
Christine I noticed the press samples of the glosses look different in packaging than the ones for sale. The ones you have for example have print on the clear part of the bottles (which is beautiful) but the ones for sale show the print on the black cap. Do you know what’s going on with that? I really wanted the original print on the clear part not the cap.
I don’t know! Normally, when I get press samples in boxes, they’re pretty close to final (especially with printing – like my Lustre Drops were in regular, matte black boxes and had sample labels, and I expect they have a design on them for final sale).
Bonnie, I’ve seen on Instagram comments from people who already got their glosses and it seems that they got the ones with the design on the bottle. On the Canadian website (MAC) when you select one of the lip glosses, one picture shows the print on the bottle and the other one is with print on the cap. I’m curios to see how mine will turn out 🙂
I bought the Delicates Bronzer prerelease. It doesn’t seem yo have the pigmentation problems you experienced with the previous release. Give it a try if you see it in store!
I really like the packaging so I caved in and bought the Coconut Fix+ and La Salsa lip glass! Everything was sold out online, so I took a chance and went to the MAC counter at Nordstrom yesterday over my lunch hour and they had it! Love them both!
I haven’t bought a MAC collection in years but i shopped this one with pleasure. I was surprised that when I remembered that it went live (about noon) that there was still stuff left.
I ordered off the Macy’s website. Here’s my haul:
si si mi
refinded golden
coconut fix+
passion face powder
both brushes
