YSL Light Me Red (119) Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick ($38.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark pink-red with fine, gold and ruby red pearl throughout. The finish was lightly glossy and shiny, which gave it a more luminous sheen that gave my lips a plumper look.
The pigmentation was medium to semi-opaque in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly to my lips, though I felt it wasn't quite as even as other shades have applied for me in the same formula. The consistency was lightweight, creamy and moderately slippery, and it was very much as touted--a lipstick and lip balm hybrid--so it applied comfortably but wasn't the longest-wearing formula. This shade wore nicely for four and a half hours and left a very faint stain behind while the formula felt hydrating.
