Editor's Review

Beat Down is described as a "deep metallic violet with blue micro-glitter." It's a brightened, medium-dark violet purple with cool, blue undertones and a pearly sheen. I really didn't notice the micro-glitter at all when I swatched or used it on the eye. The texture was a little on the firmer side, so a flatter brush works better with this one. It wore well for eight hours. Natasha Denona Blue Dahlia (181DC) (LE, $29.00) is warmer (95% similar). Sugarpill Weekender (P, $13.00) is more shimmery (95% similar).
