Kat Von D Danzig Metal Crush Eyeshadow ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "pearlescent violet." It's a brightened, medium-dark violet purple with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good color payoff with a fairly soft, smooth consistency that was just a smidgen firm in the pan compared to other shades, so it didn't have the same buttery feel--smooth but just not as dense. The color translated well on the skin with the same intensity and blended out well. On me, it wore for eight hours before fading. It is one of the better purple eyeshadows on the market, and a cool-toned one at that. Inglot #439 (P, $6.00) is darker, warmer.
