Shiseido Firecracker (219) VisionAiry Gel Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, medium red with strong, warm orange undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer--a hint of my lip freckle peered through--with a smooth, even application of color that didn't emphasize my lip lines.
The consistency was creamy with a velvety glide that almost felt like it was melting against my lips, but it had a "soft set" where it developed light tackiness and didn't slide around after a minute or so. The shine wore down within an hour, while the color stayed on for over six hours on me and felt lightly hydrating over time.
