Sephora My Rules (34) Rouge Lacquer ($13.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied fairly evenly, but it was one of the underwhelming shades in the range as it didn't live up to the pigmentation claims and the formula's flaws came through more noticeable as a result.
The lipstick still had a smooth, creamy consistency that felt like it melted slightly as it applied over my lips, which gave it moderate slip and kept it from tugging on my lips. It lasted decently for four hours and felt moisturizing over time.
