Rare Beauty Empathy With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm ($16.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy pink with moderate, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which was a lot more coverage than anticipated based on the sheer, buildable coverage marketed.
The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and lightweight with a moderate slip that wasn't heavy or tacky. The color applied evenly and didn't emphasize my lip texture, though there was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines (only visible in the close-up photos but not from a normal viewing distance). It stayed on well for three and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating.
