So, after trying other colors of this formula, I felt like I had to find and try this famous color. The color is really nice for cooler skin tones, but it didn’t blend as nicely as the newer colors or apply as evenly as the newer released colors I have. It is almost as if this is more waxy than the new ones. It does last a long time, but I really never reach for this because it’s not fun to work with!

I like to use this as an eyeshadow base because it enhances the colour and increases the staying power of the eyeshadows. I tend to use it with a brush because I generally find it hard to get my fingers into this sort of container (I have long nails), and it also helps to get the best application and coverage. The colour is easy to make opaque, or to blend out depending on the look you want, but I would say the finger is probably the best blending tool, as the heat will help a lot. I find the colour looks fine on its own under the eye, but on the actual lid I think some wouldn't find the colour particularly pretty, so I would recommend it more as a base than an eyeshadow.

So hard to scoop out of the pan and even harder to get to spread against my eyelid. Has the consistency of frozen butter, the color is not warm enough for even my cool based skintone, ends up looking dirty on my eyelids. VERY hard to blend. I like the other non-matte color tattoos much much better.
