Master Mattes #5 is a light, very golden brown with strong, warm yellow undertones and a matte finish. The color coverage was semi-opaque with a bit of translucency when initially applied, which was even and could be worn as-is but could be built up to full coverage if preferred. The texture felt soft and smooth with more of a velvety slip to it, though it wasn't particularly creamy or dense. It lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
