Master Mattes #3 is a light-medium, yellowy peach with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium pigmentation in a single layer, which could be built up to semi-opaque coverage. The texture was slightly powdery compared to most shades in the palette, though it applied evenly and wasn't prone to fallout. It stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
