Makeup by Mario Master Metallics 12-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($48.00 for 0.36 oz.) is a new, permanent all-shimmer palette. Per the brand, the formula is supposed to be used dry for "a light wash" of color or wet for "full-coverage color." If you're someone who likes consistency in coverage and does not want to have to use fingertips or a dampened brush to get the most out of a formula, it's probably going to cause more frustration than joy.
Where the formula sings is in the actual adhesion of the product to skin; it has a more melted, seamless look that has shine without being prone to emphasizing lid texture or lines. The coverage was all over the place; some shades were more of a "light wash" with a dry brush while others were fairly pigmented dry. The more emollient, almost spongy formula (a faint indent is visible if one presses on it) seemed particularly suited to pushing motions in the pan to pick up color when using them dry. They wore around eight hours on me before fading/creasing faintly.
