Master Metallics #9 is a brighter, medium red with moderate, warm undertones and flecks of pink and gold micro-sparkle throughout. Applied dry, it had more semi-sheer to medium coverage, while a dampened brush or a fingertip had full color payoff in a single layer, which was also more metallic and more even in its overall application.
The texture was lightly creamy with moderate glide, but I was surprised at how well the color applied to bare skin--normally these more emollient formulas will slide around and go on unevenly. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

The creamy shadows deliver a range of chromatic effects from natural to intense, with high-impact shine. The luxe formula can be used dry or wet to achieve a light wash or full-coverage color. Apply this shadow with your fingers to achieve a quick, allover, beautiful intensity. For more detailed application, use the E 4 brush (sold separately) to pat and build the shadow. Wet the brush for extra intensity. Use Master Eye Prep & Set™ (sold separately) as a base for superior grip and buildability.
