Make Up For Ever 102 White Gold is a moderately warm-toned, very light gold with a glitter finish. It is a permanent eyeshadow that retails for $26.00 and contains 0.08 oz.
Make Up For Ever 102 White Gold Star Lit Diamond Powder ($26.00 for 0.08 oz.) has a translucent base with flecks of silver and gold sparkle and glitter. It seemed to read more warm and silvery at times, and then at other angles (or lighting types), it read pale, warm gold. The texture felt chunkier as there didn't seem to be any pigmentation coming from a finer loose base, but there seemed to be more sparkle that felt flatter and adhered a bit better to bare skin, though an adhesive base would be highly recommended for real-life wear.
As an eyeshadow, I was able to press and pat it onto my inner tearduct and have it wear decently for six to seven hours, but there was moderate fallout that built up over time. As a cheek highlighter, it was a little more forgiving but had a tendency of sheering out too readily, so it applied on a broader area than I had originally intended as a result. There was some glitter/sparkle that traveled over the eight hours it lasted for, though I was able to see some glitter still where I had originally applied it. Due to the sheer/translucent base, I did not find it buildable without packing it on over an adhesive base.
