Bordeauxline is a medium-dark, eggplant purple with warm, pink undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable coverage (up to mostly opaque) and was best applied using short strokes rather than attempting to get a line of color in a fluid stroke when working along the upper or lower lash lines. From afar, it looked fairly even, but up-close, it wasn't. The texture was firmer and a bit waxy, but it didn't feel sharp or rough, just had a bit of tug. On the upside, it did last for nine and a half hours with minimal thinning/fading. I didn't have any issues with it smudging or running on me, and when I spritzed it with water, it did not run.
