Mesmerising Maroon (Matte) is a deep, reddened plum with subtle, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff in one stroke, which applied evenly without tugging on my lower lash line but did feel a bit "sharper" as it was a firmer formula. The color built up well to full coverage with a second or applied in shorter, more overlapping strokes. It wore well for 12 hours before starting to fade noticeably and migrate into the outer corners.
