MAC Petrol Blue is a very cool-toned, dark blue with a sparkle finish. It is a permanent eyeliner that retails for $15.00 and contains 0.04 oz.
MAC Petrol Blue Pearlglide Eyeliner ($17.50 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a "deep navy with pearl." It's a deepened navy blue with a blackened blue base and lighter blue sparkle. It had decent pigmentation in one pass, which was buildable to nearly opaque color with two layers. The eyeliner glided on easily and wore well for eight and a half hours. I had slight migration of the glittery bits with this shade, but it was less than what I had with Designer Purple. Urban Decay Sabbath (P, $19.00) is less sparkly, more muted. NARS Rue Saint-Honore (P, $24.00) is less sparkly. See comparison swatches
