MAC Lavender Jade Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "dirty mauve with gold pearl [with a Matte finish]." It's a medium, lavender purple with subtle, cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had good pigmentation, though not fully opaque, with a creamy, velvety consistency that glided on without tugging but was a little thicker overall. I found it slid into my lip lines after three hours of wear, but it was creamy enough that I could smooth the color back out if I rubbed my lips back-and-forth. The color lasted four and a half hours in total and was neither drying nor hydrating. This shade was previously released as a limited edition color, and the permanent version is a bit darker.
