MAC Frank-n-Furter Lipstick ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "deep raspberry wine [with a Matte finish]." It's a deepened red with subtle, cool undertones with a matte finish. I don't get raspberry/wine vibes from it (not even in the tube). It had mostly opaque color coverage with a lightly creamy consistency that allowed the color to go on evenly and smoothly. This color wore well for six and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. I didn't have any feathering/bleeding with this shade, but I'm not prone to either. Chanel La Desiree (327) (LE, $34.00) is similar. MAC Just a Bite (LE, $16.00) is less matte. NARS Mascate (P, $26.00) is slightly darker. MAC Such Flare (LE, $16.00) is warmer. MAC MAC Red (P, $16.00) is lighter, cooler-toned. MAC Charmed, I’m Sure (LE, $16.00) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
