Navy is a dark, lightly brightened, navy blue with a semi-matte finish. It appears mostly matte applied, but there are very fine shimmers spread throughout. The texture of this shade was incredibly soft and silky, though a bit powdery. It's actually intensely pigmented and a little goes a very long way, but it doesn't adhere as well to skin, so some of the pigmentation gets lost as it is blended against the skin. When used with LORAC's eyeshadow primer, this wasn't an issue. Applied, the color lasted for nine hours, but it did stain slightly (both with and without primer). MAC Prussian (P, $15.00) is greener. Make Up For Ever #6E (P, $20.00) is a cream product. Inglot #332 (P, $6.00) is more of a violet blue. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
