Synth is a bright, cyan-like blue with very faint silver micro-shimmer over a matte finish. It had good color payoff with a soft, blendable consistency that applied fairly well to bare skin. I was able to retain most of the vibrancy without primer, but to maximize your oomph, I would still recommend a primer. It showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.
