Suede is a light brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff in a single layer, which wasn't too buildable without primer underneath. The eyesahdow was lightly powdery, but it did not sheer out too readily on my lid, so it was workable. This shade lasted for seven and a half hours on me.
