JD Glow Unexpected is a moderately warm-toned, light duochrome with a metallic finish. It is a permanent eyeshadow that retails for $7.50 and contains 0.095 oz.
JD Glow Unexpected Galaxy Shadow ($7.50 for 0.095 oz.) seemed to have a brighter, dirty gold base with multi-colored shimmer and finer sparkle--blue, violet, gold popped out to my eye--paired with an intense, metallic finish. It is supposed to have "purple, green, teal, and gold effects," per the brand.
There seemed to be a shift from lighter, gold-green to deeper gold to plum, but I didn't get as much of a shift (like a multichrome) on the lid as I did in person. I did get more of a cool, multi-colored twinkling effect, though, which I found hard to replicate from past products I've tried. It had opaque color coverage with a smooth consistency that felt like liquid-cream to the touch. The eyeshadow stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.
