Play Hard is a bright, white gold base that shifted between gold and green paired with a sparkling finish. It seemed to have a more transparent base to it, rather than an actual base color, so I wasn't surprised at the more medium to semi-opaque "coverage" from it. (The brand's promotional swatches show it as opaque, though.) I could feel the sparkles in the texture, but it was still smoother, a little cream-like, and more densely-packed in the pan. It worked best by pressing and patting it onto the skin with fingertips or a wet brush to maximize coverage and evenness, though a dry brush worked decently, especially if it was more for layering or to highlight the inner tearduct area. It lasted well for eight hours on me with slight fallout over time.
