Northern Lights is a dirty, light-medium gold with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was denser but not stiff, so it was still blendable on the skin without much effort. It did require a denser brush or heavier handed application to get product onto a brush, though. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and lasted well for eight and a half hours. Despite seeming more metallic and almost thick initially, it did not emphasize my skin's natural texture.
