Mercury is a blackened teal base with flecks of blue-teal shimmer and sparkle. The texture was more emollient and cream-like, which helped the sparkles bind with the underlying base color, but I did find that the edges were harder to diffuse and could look a bit ragged. It was harder to manipulate around fine lines, like my inner lid area as opposed to my outer lid area. It stayed on well for eight hours before creasing slightly and didn't give me issues with fallout.
