Mauve #9 is a medium-dark red with warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was thinner and drier with some stiffness in the pan, which made it less blendable and harder to pickup with a brush. It had good color payoff, though, but it seemed to absorb any natural oils on my skin and take on a subtle sheen. This shade lasted for eight and a half hours on me.
