Hot Mess is a medium, reddish-berry with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque, while the texture was soft to the touch but moderately powdery, so there was a bit of fallout during application. I'd recommend tapping off excess into the pan and using a gentler touch overall. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
