Gucci Potent Violet Vibrant Demi-Glaze Lip lacquer ($32.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a sheer, pink-lavender base with iridescent shimmer. The thinner texture of the gloss made it so I could feel some of the shimmer in it, though it wasn't too noticeable. The color itself was sheer, and it wore well for two and a half hours. This was one of the most disappointing products that I bought from the new line. NARS Easy Lover (P, $26.00) is lighter, pinker. Shiseido Nebula (VI207) (P, $25.00) is purpler. L'Oreal Pucker-Up Pink (LE, $7.99) is lighter. Revlon Pinkissimo (P, $7.99) is brighter, pinker. Dior Dolly Pink (453) (P, $29.50) is pinker. Urban Decay Trashed (P, $19.00) is brighter.
